Who we are

Estudio Jurídico Balbuena Camps & Asociados is a firm of attorneys and notaries based on Avenida Hermanas Mirabal in Puerto Plata, led by Dr Rafael Carlos Balbuena Pucheu. The team handles civil, criminal, real estate, constitutional, administrative, employment, traffic and company matters across the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

The team’s qualifications

The firm’s attorneys hold master’s degrees in civil law and civil procedure and in administrative law and municipal management, along with postgraduate qualifications in constitutional and criminal law. Each professional’s background is set out on the attorneys page.

International clients

Many of our clients live on the North Coast for part of the year or invest in it from abroad. We handle property transactions, inheritance, contracts, traffic accidents and civil matters, and we arrange consultations in person and remotely with clients in Europe, North America and the Caribbean.
